Just like how Singapore’s story is a complex tale of assimilation, Nyonya food is an exhilarating culinary ride of cultural infusion! Inspired by the Nyonya sayur lodeh, I added pineapple for a refreshing tang and cheese for natural umami. With Korean rice cakes, this is familiarity and regional influences all in one alluring curry bowl!
