Souperchefanna Message: Taste Brazil Edition 2
“Cooking is probably one of the most effective ways to express love. When I prepare a meal, my utmost wish is to make happier whoever shares the table with me.” ~ Rogerio Moraes

A cookout session with Rogerio, teaching me to make a Brazilian recipe that has been a family tradition. Thank you for your friendship!
We are blessed to have shared a meal, the table with Rogerio, learning about the glue to his family and his language of love! It has always been my love and fascination to know about everyone’s favourite home-cooked meal. And it is often my way of starting a conversation with newly minted friends in Brazil, enquiring about the food they grew up eating. The two weeks in Brazil, made possible because of our treasured partner, Sadia Singapore, have given me many incredibly satisfying conversations. We were on a mission to discover what joy and love is for Brazilians, what brings people together and the answer really isn’t surprising – food. It is universal, it binds people together regardless of background and ancestry. I love the saying that food forms a narrative of our lives, that we are not so much what we eat, but what we remember we have eaten. Indeed, I have been blessed and greatly inspired by the soul-satisfying experiences in Brazil. These new Souperchef creations for #TSSTasteBrazil campaign are dedicated to all of you who have hosted us and shared your stories with us.

Gracious hugs upon departure replace what were handshakes on arrival. Thank you each and everyone for making this inspiration trip to learn about your culture and your food. Thank you Sadia Singapore and SATS-BRF for making this trip possible.
Our very first e-magazine is ready for downloading!
